Republic Jet Center FBO (RJC) at Republic Airport in Farmingdale Airport announced today the start of its new portable Air Start Unit service. RJC is the only FBO on Long Island to have procured an Air Start Unit. With a commitment to client and crew care, RJC is now offering the unit for service and rental in the New York area.
RJC’s Portable Air Start Unit is now available for crews and maintenance looking for the benefits of this on demand system. RJC is located at KFRG and available for rental at ISP, LGA, EWR, TEB, FOK with at least 1/2-day notice. The unit will be trailered to the location and an operator will assist the Line Service Technicians in getting the unit powered and pushing air.
RJC Air Start Unit can be used for a variety of aircraft. “When you need to get off the ground, time is of the essence. Crews really love that we have it available to them. We’re excited to extend this service to area airports” said Bill Sivori, VP & General Manager of Republic Jet Center.
